These onboard cards are more than capable of running most newer games just fine. What's the purpose of you coming in here knocking something you know nothing about? Yes the visuals are nice in this game but they aren't anything special or new. The game runs fine on the card at 60 fps on all high settings. With the graphic requirements of EVE I am surprised the game runs at all. There's your problem - you are using a shared onboard video card. (Unless I do and I'm just not aware of it, in which case please explain how one could do that.) Unfortunately, I don't have the means to run TQ in a previous version, so I can't test it myself. I hope that's a good sign that they've been able to reproduce it.Īs the common theme seems to be that Crucible 1.0.2 is the problem, is it possible to load up an Eve client with Crucible 1.0.0 where the problem seemed to be fixed and run a logserver report under those conditions while gate jumping? maybe something different is happening when gate jumping between different versions? Just a hypothesis. I see in my bug report the status was changed to "attached to a defect". Anyhoot, I do appreciate the effort Let me know if there is anything else I can submit that can help. I really do want to help you get to the bottom of this!Īlright, I was able to post the logserver.

I didn't know how to post the results of the logserver in my bug report, so if you can inform me as to how to do so, that would be excellent.Īlso, I am glad I have been proven wrong and that the devs are working to resolve the issue. Also I ran logserver, and I jumped about 3 or 4 times and had the bug occur.

Also, I submitted a bug report yesterday as well, the ID of which is 122980 which does have a clear screenshot of the issue.

I of course also feel stupid for giving my friend the new 60 day free trial after I was going on and on about how awesome the latest expansion was (in part I was thrilled cause they fixed the problem), so I guess I was foolish to stick my neck out for CCP.Īlright, I submitted the bug report as you instructed. However, I would be thrilled to be proven wrong. I hope CCP is at least aware of this, but like I said earlier, I doubt it. I will of course recheck these forums daily, and try any reasonable suggestions in an attempt to fix the problem, but so far none of have been successful. I'm pretty much deciding I'm not going to renew at the end of the month, as it's simply very disheartening to see this problem come back AFTER it is fixed.
Intel graphics and media ctrl alt Patch#
1.0.2 brought the problem back, and the latest hotfix patch did NOT fix it. However, Crucible 1.0.0 fixed the problem completely, and the game was playable, and in fact it played beautifully with what I'd call "middle of the road" graphics settings. I will be the first to admit my computer isn't anything great for gaming. Anyone want to place ISK bets as to whether the patch will address the issue? which I am knocking on wood, but I would say at this point I am not optimistic they are even aware of this issue (I hope I'm wrong, but it's one of those gut feelings.) Anyway, it did feel good to be back to EVE, but I may cancel my sub once again if they don't fix this, so let's see what happens after Downtime. Well, they did say they were releasing a hotfix patch tomorrow that should fix various issues, including localized client issues.

I am kind of glad to know I'm not the only one. The game was running like a charm after Crucible, but now it's UGH again.

YES!!!! OMG I am having the same issue, I was so happy when Crucible fixed the problem, and I have had a headache all day since the 1.02 patch seems to have messed everything up again!!! Anyway, I sent a bug report, but I will post here my system specs. Thread Statistics | Show CCP posts - 21 post(s) » Click here to find additional results for this topic using Google
